The Wait is Over

Introducing the Jane 16-shaft loom available in 50 cm and 70 cm weaving widths (20-inch and 27.5-inch). We are in full production and final assembly of the looms with first orders shipping to their new owners next week.

Even Better than Before

The 16-shaft Jane loom takes the best table loom on the market and makes it even better. Now the loom can be ordered with 16 shafts or 8 with the ability to expand to 16 shafts at a later date. This is a unique feature for a 16-shaft table loom, adding to the reasons weavers are choosing a Louët's Jane loom.

All Jane looms are stacked with our standard features:

  • the most compact when folded, 8+ shaft table loom on the market
  • easy to fold
  • clean toggle action
  • large shed
  • smooth overhead beater
  • large weaving area
  • carrying handle and protective feet to rest on
  • harnesses that snap back
  • partially assembled
  • padded travel bag
  • Lease sticks, apron bars, warp sticks
  • 800/1200 heddles (50/70)
  • 40-10 metric reed (approx. 10 dent)

Celebrating 50 Years

50 years

2024 will mark the 50th anniversary of Louët and we are celebrating by bringing you new products and improvements on existing ones. Our warping mill will be getting ball bearings for a smoother action. (There will be an upgrade kit available to existing warping mill owners). Megado owners will be thrilled with the shaft end re-design, for ease when changing heddles.

Tune into our social media channels and sign up for our newsletter, Facebook, or Instagram to learn about what is going on with Louët, our growth plans, and our 50th anniversary.
